The training's primary focus is on the mechanics of conducting Close Interval Potential Surveys (CIPS) and Direct Current Voltage Gradient (DCVG) surveys under actual field conditions, allowing participants to understand the intricacies of cathodic protection systems including GPS and current interrupters. The course balances indoor theoretical understanding, augmented by approximately a dozen PowerPoint presentations, with outdoor hands-on practice, enabling trainees to configure, program, and operate survey gear effectively. The training is designed to accommodate varying educational or experience levels of attendees, ensuring comprehensive understanding. Additionally, it fosters interaction through Q&A sessions and provides each trainee a comprehensive CD containing owner's manuals, datasheets, and all instructional materials, concluding with a certificate of completion.
