Transformers, in the range from 50 kVA to 3150 kVA, are made with electrolytic copper windings and, on demand, with electrostatic screen connected to a bushing. The cores are made of grain oriented high permeability magnetic steel. The normal construction is a hermetically sealed type which needs no maintenance during its life time; these transformers are designed to have a life expectancy over 25 years. Breathing type transformer. Copper windings. IP55 bushings protection boxes. Forced ventilation systems (AF). Painting cathegory suitable for high corrosive ambient conditions. All accessories are centralised in an external Marshalling box.

Breathing type transformers. Designed to work with a 24 pulse converter. Suitable to operate in parallel with an identical transformers in order to achieve power source close to 48 pulse.
