The air/gas diaphragm pump provides a pumping chamber which is totally sealed, therefore does not require a sliding seal between moving parts. Vacuum and pressure is produced by the flexing of the diaphragm back and forth in the chamber. The reciprocating action is created by an eccentric driven connecting rod under the diaphragm. The liquid diaphragm pumps can handle corrosive gases and vapours when the correct materials are specified and are completely oil free, making them ideal for use in applications where contamination cannot be tolerated.

Patented rotary diaphragm pumps use the Charles Austen patented technology. The flow of liquid is initiated by an eccentrically mounted bearing on a drive shaft revolved within a flexible diaphragm. As the shaft rotates, the bearing flexes the diaphragm, squeezing liquid through the pump. These pumps have outstanding self-priming characteristics and are of a valve-less, seal-less design.

The low power HX88 mini series is ideal for water feature, rock pools and water falls. Its rotor assembelly is easy to remove and maintain whilst having the ability to be mounted in any orientation. The HX88 mini has a fully adjustable flow regulator to give you better control over the flow of the pump to match your application.

The V series air pumps are ideal for larger hydroponic tanks and aquariums; they allow several air stones to be run from one pump so that a large amount of water can be aerated at one time. The filter cover on each pump can be removed so that clean air can be drawn from outside the grow room or tank house, making them ideal pumps for both aquatic and hydroponic applications.
