Westec / GWconnect heavy duty connectors are mainly used in contro panels, robotics, industrial automation and wherever connections are required for power, control and signal circuits in industrial or in particularly harsh environments for the presence of aggressive substances. Multipole Connectors are suitable for the use with alternate and direct current and to facilitate the manufacturing process, installation and maintenance of sectional electric parts in complex machinery in accordance the most advanced European and American Standards.The inserts in self-extinguishing thermoplastic material UL94V0 are available with screw terminals, screw terminals with terminal block, spring terminals, crimp terminals and push-in terminals.Turned contacts manufactured for all iserts versions, are made in hard-silver or in hard-gold coated copper alloy. A complete range of stamped crimp contacts, supplied on reel, is also available alongside the turned version.

The tubular S50 series is a wide photoelectric sensor line offering through beam, proximity and retroreflex polarized optic functions, available with both LED and laser emission models, radial and axial optics, 2m cable or M12 4-pole connection in plastic housing. Available in DC version offering excellent solutions for all industrial applications, presenting a flat plastic housing with 2 fixing holes to guarantee excellent mounting flexibility.

The tubular S51 series is a photoelectric sensor basic line offering through beam, proximity and retroreflex polarized optic functions with LED emission, radial and axial optics, 2m cable or M12 4-pole connection. Also available in DC version with both metal or plastic housing. The plastic version offers flat housing with 2 fixing holes to guarantee high mounting flexibility.

The S5 series offers a range of plastic tubular M18 photoelectric sensors.The most varied optic functions can be chosen amongst the fixed focus 15 mm and 50 mm or diffuse proximity models with short, medium or long operating distances reaching 60 cm; the 4 m retroreflex, 3 m polarised retroreflex and 1 m for detection of transparent materials; the 12 m through beam and models with fibre-optic connection. Different versions with either axial or radial optics are available. The series offers connector or cable connection, 3 wire Vac versions or 4 wire Vdc versions with complete configuration of the NPN/PNP output and dark/light mode.A red LED indicating the output status is visible on the bottom side of the sensor. The versions with trimmer adjustment present also a green LED signalling the switching stability according to the received signal’s intensity.The rugged ABS housing always guarantees IP67 protection.

The new S15 series of M18 tubular sensors offers both plastic case version S15-PA and stainless steel IP69K housing version S15-NA. S15-PA plastic version is recommended for cost and space savings with a wide selection of optic functions, ranging from 5 m retroflex to 1 m diffuse proximity and 12 cm background suppression. S15-NA metal version include a widest optic function selection, all equipped with trimmer setting and metal M12 connector to improve the sensor robustness, thanks to IP69K protection.
