CHEMetrics - Multi-Analyte Photometer for Water Quality Analysis

CHEMetrics® handheld, portable V-3000 Multi-Analyte Water Photometer offers cutting edge technology for applications in the field and in the laboratory.  Intuitive and easy to use, the menu guides the analyst through all measuring tasks and is pre-programmed with over 40 calibrations using CHEMetrics Vacu-vials ampoules and MDL+test kits.  Test kits sold separately. The V-3000 model comes in a cardboard box and includes the photometer, 13 mm adapter and light shield, two 28 mm vials, four AA batteries, PC Interface Cable and operator’s manual.

CHEMetrics - Verification Kit

The V-0002 Verification Kit allows an analyst to quickly and routinely check the performance of CHEMetrics® V-2000 Photometer.   Ideal for instrument verification in the lab or in the field, the V-2000 Verification Kit is packaged in a compact, durable polypropylene carrying case.

SAM Single Analyte Meters

SAM Verification Kit (530 nm)

The I-0003 Verification Kit for 530 nm Single Analyte Meters (SAMs) allows an analyst to quickly and routinely check the performance of the following photometers:  Chlorine (I-2001), Dissolved Oxygen (I-2002), Chlorine Dioxide (I-2005), Ozone (DPD) (I-2019) and Peracetic Acid (I-2020). Each SAM Verification kit is packaged in a compact, durable polypropylene carrying case and includes a set of ampoules containing various dye solutions specific to the wavelength of the particular photometer.  A spectrophotometer that is certified using NIST traceable optical standards has been used to verify that each ampoule in the kit performs within the established acceptance criteria.

Hydrogen Peroxide Verification Kit

The I-5543 Verification Kit is intended for customers who use CHEMetrics Hydrogen Peroxide Vacu-vials Kit, Catalog No. K-5543 and would like to verify the performance of any of the following CHEMetrics photometers:  I-2016 Peroxide SAM (Single Analyte Meter) and the V-2000 and V-3000 Multi-Analyte photometers (Program 95).

CHEMetrics - Ozone SAM Verification Kit

The I-7433 Verification Kit is intended for customers who use CHEMetrics Ozone Vacu-vials Kit, Catalog No. K-7433 and would like to verify the performance of the CHEMetrics I-2022 Ozone SAM (Single Analyte Meter). Each kit is packaged in a compact, durable polypropylene carrying case and includes a set of ampoules containing various dye solutions specific to the wavelength of the I-2022 SAM. The absorbance of each dye ampoule is individually confirmed using a spectrophotometer that is certified using optical standards traceable to NIST. A Certificate of Conformance is supplied with each kit that reports the range of permissible test values for each standard in the kit.

Technology

CHEMets - Visual Colorimetric Analysis

To perform a test, immerse the CHEMets ampoule into the sample and snap off the tip (Step 1).  The correct volume of sample is automatically drawn in, filling the ampoule; a small inert gas bubble remains in the ampoule. To facilitate mixing the sample and reagent, tilt the ampoule back and forth so the bubble travels from end to end (Step 2). In 2 minutes or less, quantify the result by comparing the filled ampoule to the appropriate color standard(s) (Step 3).

VACUettes - High Range Visual Colorimetric Analysis

The VACUettes® Auto Dilution Method: Hold the ampoule in a horizontal position while the capillary tip contacts the sample (Step 1). After the capillary fills, immerse it in a diluent (usually deionized water); snap the tip off the ampoule (Step 2). The sample and diluent are drawn into the ampoule where they mix with the reagent (Step 3). The resulting color.

Vacu-vials - Instrumental Colorimetric Analysis

The Vacu-vials® Method: To perform a test, immerse the Vacu-vials ampoule into the sample and snap off the tip (Step 1).  The correct volume of sample is automatically drawn in, filling the ampoule; a small inert gas bubble remains in the ampoule. To facilitate mixing the sample and reagent, tilt the ampoule back and forth so the bubble travels from end to end (Step 2). In 2 minutes or less, quantify the result by placing the filled ampoule in the cell holder of an instrument set to a wavelength for optimal absorbance (Step 3).
