Internet Training

Chemical Data Management Services offers Internet based employee training videos on a variety of hazardous material, safety, and facility specific task training topics. We develop SITE SPECIFIC trainings that integrates, on site video, voice-over narration, and on-screen text to provide training videos that keep the interest of the students, improve the productivities of company training programs, accomplish the goals of management, and meet regulatory requirements. Employee training videos can be any length and topic. Site specific employee training videos are accessed on line using a customer access code, making them convenient to view from any web portal. Some of the benefits of CDMS’s internet based employee trainings are: Video can be offered to multiple locations at once. Trainings are company specific. Training material presented is consistent. No need to keep track of physical video or DVD copies. In the case of contractor training, contractors can easily view the training before they arrive at the site. Cost effective way to train multiple employees and/or multiple sites. Production is not disrupted because employees have to be trained all at once. DOT Training (HM126F)

Federal Department of Transportation regulation 49CFR § 172.704 HM126F requires that employers who are are involved in the following activities train employees: Transporting hazardous materials in commerce; Causing hazardous materials to be transported or shipped in commerce; or Representing, marking, certifying, selling, offering, reconditioning, testing, repairing, or modifying containers, drums, or packaging as qualified for use in the transportation of hazardous materials.

Hazardous Waste Handlers Training

Hazardous Waste Handlers’ training is required for employees who handle hazardous waste. The training must be given to employees within 6 months of their hire date and annually thereafter. This course teaches handlers to perform their duties in compliance with regulations and will cover routine waste management duties and the content of the contingency plan. Topics include: Definitions of RCRA Terminology. Hazardous Waste Accumulation Areas. Tracking Hazardous Waste. Manifests and Shipping. Contingency Plan.

Web-Based Training

CDMS provides web-based training to meet employee safety training requirements to meet the OSHA, and hazardous material user training requirements. The training courses incorporate video, and still images, many filmed directly at the Client’s site. On-site text and graphics are added to reinforce the material presented. The training courses are designed to be accessed on line, via a provided URL web address and access code. Viewers will log on to the access URL and then enter the access code.
