Chemical Design, Inc. has long been a leader in applying adsorption techniques to purification and separation problems, often on a “first-of-a-kind” basis. Some of these firsts include: Air Plant Feed Purification with Molecular Sieve, Silicon Plant Vent Gas Purification and Separation, Removal of CCl4 from Chlorine Plant “Sniff Gas” Residues, Removal of Organics from Acid Vapors by Adsorption. Although our specialty is adsorption, we have designed and built many other types of process plants.

CDI provides a completely functional skid-mounted process system in order to minimize expensive field construction. Our customers only have to connect to major process and utility connections. If multiple skids are supplied to complete a system, interconnecting piping between skids can be supplied.

CDI has the capability to design and build complete control systems for our process plants. We have extensive experience in PLC and HMI programming. Locally mounted operator interfaces are commonly used when mounting on the skid is required. Full PC-based designs are often implemented when the monitoring is accomplished from a remote location. Data acquisition, logging, trending and alarm monitoring are possible when requested by the customer. Because we are well-versed with most major control vendor systems, we are able to more efficiently integrate our control system to existing plant platforms.
