The NucleoCounter NC-3000™ advanced image cytometer utilizes fluorescence imaging to characterize cell properties. The instrument performs high-speed plug-and-play analytical assays of mammalian, yeast and insect cells. Pre-defined assays include a unique 5-minute cell cycle assay, a selection of apoptosis assays and the standard cell count and viability assay.

The NucleoCounter® NC-250™ is an automated cell analyzer, which can characterize cell properties using fluorescence imaging. The NC-250™ offers a wide range of optimized protocols to meet the needs of all mammalian cell types grown under different conditions.

The NucleoCounter YC-100™ is the most precise automated yeast cell counter on the market. Perfect for the brewing industry, it is used to count cells in pitching yeast, yeast in suspension, and dry yeast. It measures the total cell count and viability of yeast cells in suspension. This automated yeast cell counter features a camera and an integrated fluorescence microscope designed to detect signals from the fluorescent dye, propidium iodide (PI) when bound to DNA. Results from this instrument represent either total or non-viable cell concentration, depending on the sample preparation.

The Via2-Cassette™ is a specialized cell sampling and staining device used with the NucleoCounter^® instruments for viability and cell count applications. The cassette contains immobilized acridine orange (AO) and 4’,6-diamidino-2-phenylindole (DAPI) to distinguish between the total cell and dead cell populations, respectively.

The Via1-Cassette is a specialized cell sampling and staining device for viability and cell count applications with NucleoCounter® instruments. It contains the fluorophores acridine orange (AO) and 4’,6-diamidino-2-phenylindole (DAPI), which are immobilized within the cassette’s channels.

The NucleoCassette™ is a specialized cell sampling and staining device for viability and cell count applications with the NucleoCounter® NC-100™ and YC-100™ automated cell counters. The cassette contains immobilized propidium iodide (PI). When the cassette has been loaded with approximately 60 µl of cell sample solution, the PI dissolves and mixes with the sample, staining dead cell nuclei.
