HY-BON - Standard VRU Compressor
The NK series is a robust, self contained, oil flooded screw compressor package designed for small to medium sized tank vapor, volume applications. Our NK packages have a turndown range from 5 Mscfd to 110 Mscfd and a horsepower range from 15hp to 30hp, depending on the selected model. Recent design improvements allow for higher concentrations of H2S, which will be quoted on a case by case basis.
HY-BON - Vapor Recovery Tower
The HY-BON VRT provides flash gas recovery at near atmospheric pressure without the potential of oxygen ingress from the top of the storage tanks. The ability to create the vapor flash inside the VRT often reduces storage tank emissions to less than 6 tons per year, exempting the tank battery from Quad O reporting requirements.
HY-BON - Vapor Combustor Unit
HY-BON/EDI is pleased to provide the CH2.5 and CH10.0 enclosed combustors as an effective solution for eliminating VOC emissions. HY-BON/EDI’s insulated combustors are automated and have been successfully tested per EPA 40, CFR 60 guidelines – making it the perfect blend of performance and safety. The combustor comes as a complete, skid mounted package containing the liquid knock-out vessel, liquid transfer pump, flame arrestor, bird screen and burner control system. Installation is simple and field performance adjustments can be made as production changes – making it the most flexible solution in the industry.

HY-BON - Wastewater Gas Compression Systems
One of the by-products of anaerobic digestion in a sewage treatment plant is produced vapor from the digester tank. This relatively low BTU gas (typically 900-1000 BTU/cu. ft.) is comprised primarily of 55% methane and 45% carbon dioxide (CO2). Sewage digestion takes place in an aqueous environment, therefore, the gas is saturated with water when it comes off the system. Hy-Bon was instrumental in the development of a specialized compressor package for the capture and compression of these highly corrosive vapors.
HY-BON - Flow Measurement System
Flow Rate can be measured in CFM, CFH, MCFH or MCFD. The current flow rate (CFR) is displayed on the LCD screen. User defined log interval from 1 second to 10 minutes. The logs can be saved to a USB key and opened in Excel. The logs include the flow rate, minimum flow rate, maximum flow rate, and average (median) flow rate. These logs meet the EPA Quad O reporting requirements. Supports telemetry over cellular, satellite, or radio with RS-232 or RS-485. Modbus Slave Protocol allows it to communicate with other devices, software and SCADA systems.
