Underground Storage Tank Removal Closure
Clean Soils Environmental, Ltd. can assist you in the removal or closure process of a UST. A UST can be closed by removal or can be closed in place by filling the UST with an inert substance, such as concrete. UST owners must be extremely careful to comply with applicable state and local regulations when closing their tanks. Specific regulatory guidelines must be followed before, during, and after UST closures. Emergency Response
Clean Soils Environmental, Ltd. (CSE) provides emergency response services to help minimize potential impact to public health and safety, property and to the environment in the event of a sudden release of oil and/ or hazardous materials to the environment. All CSE personnel are 40-Hour Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) certified. Common situations that require emergency response services: Roadway release, Surface spills, Pipeline release, Underground Storage Tank (UST) release, Aboveground Storage Tank (AST) release.
Sampling and Testing
Clean Soils Environmental, Ltd. provides sampling and testing services for soil, sediment, surface water, groundwater and air quality using a variety of methods and state of the art equipment for sample testing and collection. Samples are collected in accordance with regulatory protocol and quality assurance and control (QA/QC) guidelines. Clean Soils Environmental, Ltd. uses reputable certified laboratories for an array of analytical testing methodologies. Samples are laboratory analyzed to determine if contamination is present, to assess the extent of the contamination, to determine the nature of the contamination, to determine the source of the contamination, to determine risk (characterization of the risk of harm from contamination to public health, safety, public welfare and the environment), and to determine results of a cleanup.
