FiberStrike - Perimeter Security System

The FiberStrike Perimeter Security system provides an invisible barrier of intrusion detection for applications ranging from corporate to military institutions to an entire country’s border. Multiple sensing zones are created to insure detection to within a few meters of the security breach. The breach location information is relayed to the proper responders in real-time. The length of the detection zones is completely modifiable to address the true security needs of the client. The system will detect and locate any intrusion attempts including but not limited to any impact, drilling, climbing and digging, on or around a secure area.

FiberStrike® fiber optic interlock switches are the most advanced solution for monitoring the status of virtually any access portal (manholes, hand holes, doorways, vaults and power grids) today. Benefiting from the nearly limitless working distances allowed by fiber optics, these interlock switches can be networked over a wide perimeter while taking advantage of existing standard communication fiber networks. LCM-940 sensing platforms, developed and patented by Cleveland Electric Laboratories, are an effective solution for detecting the presence of pedestrians in specific locations. LCM-940 platforms are part of the FiberStrike suite of fiber optic sensing solutions made by Cleveland Electric Laboratories. FiberStrike sensing systems use light to sense position or movement; FiberStrike sensors contain no electronic components, require no electrical power and radiate no signals. They cannot be bypassed without detection, and are immune to interference and environmental effects that can plague electrically-based sensors.

Fibershear - Fiber Optic Control Cabinet Connectivity Technology

CSP FiberShear Direct Connect Technology protects cabling infrastructure by preventing stress applied to the cable in a typical hard wired connection. CSP allows the cable to be control sheared at the base of the cabinet or structure, preventing stress on both the cable in the ground and the cable connecting to the electrical device. This innovative technology guarantees that all cabling infrastructure remains intact in the event of an accident and enables cabinet or device restoration to take place within minutes of the equipment being reset.
