The KapSafe™ Automated Recapping System is a pneumatics-free, high-speed, benchtop recapper, designed to safely recap tubes for storage or archiving. The system automatically recaps most standard vacuum collection tubes 13 to 16 mm in diameter, 75 to 115 mm in height, at speeds of up to 1,200 tubes per hour. The KapSafe™ protects lab workers from RSI injuries associated with manual recapping. The system provides walkaway operation with a hopper capacity of 4,200 KapSafe™ archiving caps and an input capacity of up to 20 analyser racks.
