This course builds on students` previous experience with functions and their developing understanding of rates of change. Students will solve problems involving geometric and  algebraic representations of vectors and representations of lines  and planes in three-dimensional space; broaden their  understanding of rates of change to include the derivatives of polynomial, sinusoidal, exponential, rational, and radical functions;  and apply these concepts and skills to the modelling of real-world relationships.

This introduction class will explain how code relate to one another and to the reference standards.

In this course, users will learn how to save up to an hour a day at work by practicing how to write effective business emails. Users will learn email-writing strategies and best practices that they can begin using right away. Through hands-on writing exercises and a quiz, they will learn how to write business emails that avoid a lot of unnecessary back and forth and gets the results they want the first time.

By the time the session is over, you will be able to understand the terms and definitions of toxicology and explain risks of hazardous materials; be familiar with the different types of hazardous materials and how they are classified; know how to read product labels on containers with hazardous materials and recognize the symbols on placards attached to dangerous goods; understand how safety data sheets, or SDSs, and other complementary guides are used to assist in identifying hazardous materials; and know precautionary measures to prevent spills and accidents and be prepared for action if and when they occur. This introductory course provides a practical explanation of quality management terminology, quality management systems, the structure of ISO 9001:2015 and an introduction to sector standards based on ISO 9001.
