Erosion Control Coir Products

CoirGreen - Coir Geotextile

Geotextiles or Coir netting (Coir matting) CGgeo have been known to reduce soil erosion and is used for bioengineering and slope stabilization applications globally due to the mechanical strength necessary to hold soil together. It is been proven that CGgeo (Geotextiles) last for approximately 3 - 5 years depending on the weight, and by the time the product degrades, it converts itself it to humus, which enriches the soil. The following Geotextiles are produced by Coir Green.

CoirGreen - Coir Logs

Coir Green Waterlogs – Biologs - Coirlogs are made out of a cylinder/round shape netting packed with Coir fiber. Each log comprises of coir netting, packed with coir fiber ranging from 7 – 9kg per linear meter. The diameter of the log varies as per requirement, usually come as 20cm, 30,40cm and 50cm diameter with 2 or 4 meter length for the cylindrical logs. Over a period of time, coir which is eco-friendly and biodegradable completely disintegrates leaving only humus, which enriches the soil.

CoirGreen - Coir Pallet Coir Pillows

The use of coir pallet (Coir pillows) is an excellent technique for establishing marginal vegetation around lakes edges and on all watercourse banks. The Coir pallets are a cost-effective, organic protection that is a suitable alternative to hard revetments in many applications globally. Coir Pallets provide a suitable method of introducing marginal habitat to artificially lined lakes, rivers and canals.

Hessian : A plain weave cloth made wholly of Jute with single warp and weft interwoven weighing not more than 576 grms/m2. All types of standard and non-standard Hessian Cloth. Construction as per customer specification, and requirements can be accommodated. It can have several applications as: soil erosion control, vegetation consolidation, agro-mulching, reinforcement, and protection of riverbanks & embankments, land reclamation and in road pavement construction.
