The design of the CH 4 is based on the use of an excavator base carrier (in the 8-10 tons weight class) equipped with a modular drilling mast and a multipurpose rotary head. The extended reach of the boom combined with the mast rotation movement, ensures that the CH 4 can be used to perform a wide variety of positions covering a large work area. The stability of the machine even at its maximum reach is granted by the variable-width undercarriage. The machine features two powerful winches and a muiltipurpose rotary head providing up to 43.7 nominal kNm torque. The modular mast design allows the use of kelly bars of up to 9 elements and 3.5 m in length to achieve depths of over 25 m. In CFA configuration, the CH 4 can reach 11.9 m pile depth, thanks to the use of a special extension.

With a transport weight of less than 30 tons with the rotary head and Kelly bar installed, the CH 12 CS is the smallest model of the Comacchio CH range of large diameter piling rigs. The rig is fully self-erecting. Despite the lightweight design, the CH 12 CS offers great stability and a high torque output, allowing to undertake drilling tasks that would normally require the use of larger and heavier equipment. The CH 12 CS can be configured both for uncased and case d bored piles, up to a maximum depth of 48.5 m. The CH 12 CS can be converted to perform CFA drilling with augers of 800 mm maximum diameter and a maximum depth of 19 m. The CH 12 CS is equipped with the innovative HPE (High Power Efficiency) system, that allows to efficiently control the power provided by the pumps and reduce fuel consumption.

With a transport weight of less than 32 tons with rotary and kelly bar installed and self-erecting capability, the CH 12 WS can be easily transported, unloaded and put into operation in just a few minutes without the need for any external equipment. Despite its compact and lightweight design, this piling rig offers high torque performance, allowing users to complete drilling tasks that would normally call for a bigger equipment. The CH 12 WS features a winch pull down system (WPD) that allows for a kelly set-up as well as a Quick-CFA configuration. It shines for completing drilled shafts with the use of casings in areas with soft soil or where water is present, using the rotary drive to install casings up to 880 mm in diameter.

The MC 2D is a light and powerful modular hydraulic drill unit. The MC 2D can be mounted on scaffolds, crawlers, skid frames or other special supports and can utilize 2” to 4” D.T.H. hammers, augers and coring equipment.

The MC 3D is a hydraulic drilling rig with a separate power pack, suitable for the execution of ground engineering works in confined or low overhead spaces and difficult access jobsites in general. This is possible due to the modular mast construction as well as the rig’s wide range of movements. Depending on the job site requirements, this machine can be supplied with a soundproof diesel power pack or with electric power pack. Thanks to the use of advanced modular hydraulic circuits, the MC 3D can accommodate a wide range of rotary heads and drilling accessories. The machine can be equipped with hydraulic proportional servo-assisted controls or with the innovative Comacchio radio control system. Like all Comacchio machines, the MC 3D can be customized according to specific needs. 

The MC 4 D is a hydraulic drilling rig with separate power pack, specifically designed for the execution of ground engineering works in confined or low overhead spaces and difficult access jobsites, inside buildings, basements and small tunnels. This is possible due to the rig’s wide range of allowable movements in addition to the telescopic mast adjustment, which is available as an option. Depending on the job site requirements, this machine can be supplied with a soundproof diesel power pack or with electric power pack. Thanks to the use of advanced modular hydraulic circuits, the MC 4D can accommodate a wide range of accessories and is suitable for any type of rotary or rotary-percussive drilling. The machine can be equipped with hydraulic proportional servo-assisted controls or with the innovative Comacchio radio control system. Like all Comacchio machines, the MC 4D can be customized according to specific needs.

The GEO PC is an automatic dynamic penetrometer installed on rubber tracks suitable for soil sampling, SPT (Standard Penetration Test), DPH (Dynamica Heavy Probes) and DPHS-A (Dynamic Super Heavy Probes). The GEO PC can be equipped with rotary head in order to perform ground investigation to shallow depth.
