The optical sorting system OSX (Optical Sorting ComeX) is distinguished by advanced image processing functions. The use of advanced and constantly updated software in the sorter makes it very competitive with the rest of the systems used on the market for a long time. The innovativeness of this sorting system is possible thanks to Comex’s constant cooperation with the research community, including the largest Scandinavian research institute.

Our flagship CXR separation system is equipped with a number of advanced technologies to guarantee you the highest precision of the particle separation process. The result of our work on the separation system is the extension of optical properties, using the same equipment, to frequencies other than visible light: MIR, NIR, UV and X-Ray. We used different lighting frequencies (LEDs, lasers) and selective camera filters. This ensures the interaction between the lighting and the analyzed frequency. Digital image analysis is performed by geometric parameters, shape analysis, FFT analysis, shape comparison, color comparison, structure comparison.

The VSX sorting system enables a complete and accurate 3D scan of every particle. When designing our system, we took care of its universality and ease of configuration. Thanks to this, you can decide what identification techniques you want to equip it with. You can choose from all methods offered by Comex.

Our multi-channel Comex MSX scanning system provides you with a wide range of testing. Thanks to this, you can precisely and easily characterize and separate different materials. The main function of our scanning system is to characterize the analyzed particles in terms of properties such as color, size, shape, texture, density, etc.

In the Comex range of sorting technologies, you will find sorting systems installed in standard sea containers. You can combine these containers to create temporary or permanent sorting lines. It is a flexible logistics solution, easy to move and assemble in any place of your choice.

Our CMA-D analysis system is a proven and market-appreciated solution for on-line particle characterization. Its key feature is the measurement of the grain composition of particles mixed with air, in pneumatic conveying systems or in the form of material in free fall. Measurement is carried out in many parallel channels: you can install up to 9 channels. The measurement can be successfully used for particles in the range from 0.5 to 800 microns. While working on the CMA-D multi-channel analyzer, our engineers wanted to create an analysis system that would meet the most important needs of industrial companies.

The grinding system we have developed ensures effective separation and removal of the light fraction from the starting material and precise removal of particles from the feed. The effect of using our classifier is obtaining the required division of the input material into a fine and coarse fraction.

Aerodynamic classifiers ACX belong to the main group of products supplied by Comex. They have been in our offer continuously since 1993, and throughout this time they have been consistently popular. ACX classifiers are able to separate materials down to 2-3 microns (d97), which puts them at the forefront of aerodynamic classifiers that you can find on the market. Most machines of this type have been used in the mineral industry, bringing a number of benefits there.
