We are not affiliated with any catalyst manufacturer or regenerator so we are able to provide a complete, unbiased analysis of test results to assist in making critical catalyst management decisions. Concord provides catalyst management services for coal, natural gas, and diesel-fired plants with SCR and CO reduction systems.

An important part of maintaining overall SCR performance is proper distribution of the ammonia (NH3) to NOx ratio, requiring regular evaluation and tuning of the ammonia injection grid (AIG). The proper distribution of ammonia reduces ammonia slip, ammonium bisulfate (ABS) fouling, improves catalyst longevity, and reduces overall SCR operational expense and maintenance.

Concord has in-house expertise in both Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and physical (scale) modeling. Concord Environmental frequently relies on modelling to help identify and resolve flow-related problems pertaining to reactor flow, ammonia distribution, and thermal mixing performance. Physical modeling is used when more in-depth understanding and optimization is required in regions where CFD may not be effective.
