Conifer Systems - Aftermarket Services

Our aftermarket service team is trained to troubleshoot, maintain and repair our systems and those from other OEMs, whether there is a mechanical, control, instrumentation or programming issue. Conifer Systems’ field and site service technicians are trained in operations support, compliance and energy auditing by industry professionals in engineering, safety and manufacturing, so they know exactly how to care for your system. Each service technician is trained on original build specification comprehension, changes in regulatory standards, programming, alarms and monitoring the control system. Operations support includes system optimization, capacity assessment, personnel training and a Hazard and Operability study (HAZOP). Our team can advise on changes in processes, constituents, volume and testing for compliance. Energy audits provide an assessment of the site and system efficiency and offer recommendations on improvements.

Onsite & Remote Service

Preventative Maintenance Evaluations (PMEs) Services

Many of our PME’S are adjusted to fit the needs of each client, but Gulf Coast Environmental Systems is capable of a complete inspection of all thermal oxidation technologies. This includes electrical and mechanical inspections inside and outside of each piece of air pollution control equipment. PME’S have many advantages.

Media Change-Outs Services

Regenerative Thermal and Catalytic Oxidizers (RTOs & RCOs) will experience over years of operation reduced air flow capacity, channeling or voids in the media bed, thermal imbalances in the chambers, non-efficient energy use, and extended startup times. These are all signs of a Thermal Oxidizer that should be evaluated for media replacement.

Upgrades and Retrofits Services

With the high costs of a new Thermal Oxidizers or Industrial Ovens and associated equipment, the opportunity to purchase a previously owned, rebuilt,or the relocation of a system may be an attractive option for many businesses. As a leader in the air pollution industry with 150 years of combined experience building and maintaining oxidation equipment, we are uniquely qualified to relocate, repair, modify or rebuild existing Thermal Oxidizers or Industrial Ovens to meet today’s emission or production requirements, regardless of the manufacturer. Some of the advantages include lower energy costs, improved VOC destruction efficiencies, increased product throughput, and reduced emissions of other pollutants (e.g. NOx, CO2). Various options are available and typical projects include installing a higher efficiency heat exchanger, adding variable frequency drives to fans, improving process flow and distribution, integrating secondary heat recovery, balancing combustion systems, etc.

Gulf Star Monitoring Services

Gulf Coast Environmental Systems offers state-of-the-art controls and service capabilities. Our Gulf Star Online interface allows our customers with internet connection to remotely monitor and adjust system settings in real time.
