Lined and coated pipeline systems require a specific welding design for each type of lining or coating. Conpipe has a large fabrication shop which is fully equiped with various kinds of welding machines. Welding design is done in accordance with ASME B31.3.

Conpipe normally offers the full scope of supply for the lined and coated pipe systems; so including the procurement of piping. Material for the projects are sourced from a select group of reliable, quality conscious suppliers.  Conpipe interacts with suppliers on a regular basis and provides them the necessary feedback needed to allow them to become more competitive and reliable. We stock or procure pipes, fittings, flanges , valves, gaskets, bolts and nuts, shrink sleeves and other accessories.

Conpipe’s Quality Management System integrates all aspects of quality related elements to ensure its dependability. Conpipe has institutionalized all the procedures and steps to be followed at every stage of manufacture. It is well equipped to ensure that each product goes through series of checks before it leaves the factory.

As part of any project documentation is required. Conpipe will provide as part of any order a Material Data Report (MDR) which contains the Inspection & Test Plan (ITP), mill test certificates (per EN 10204 3.1) and non-destructive testing reports all in accordance with the client specification.

In addition Conpipe offers its customers free storage of all materials and parts which have been landed or are to be shipped during the whole contract period. Mobile cranes and forklift trucks are available on the storage yards, overhead and wall cranes in the workshops for all handling of materials up to 40 tons of weight.  As part of the package Conpipe can deliver the material EXW, FCA, FOB, CIF, DDU per Incoterms 2020.

Lined and coated pipeline systems require a specific design for each type of lining or coating. Our specialists are trained to design systems suitable for shoplining and -coating. Our goal is to assist the client’s engineering team with the design of pipework that can be lined. This should preferably be done as early as possible. Engineering assistance is available for design of shop prefabricated cement-, PTFE-, rubber- and epoxy lined systems. A good design will reduce the total costs of the system and eliminate rework.

During installation or shutdown, Conpipe’s specialists can be sent to the job site to check the installed piping system. This service is normally used to control the joints and lining/coating conditions.
