Laboratory

CBE - Industrial Laboratory System

Basic Technical features: AC input: 3 x 400V +/- 10% – 50Hz. DC voltage up to 250V. Zero battery Volt in discharge available with appropriate booster circuit. DC current up to 100A in charge or discharge mode. Duty Cycle: 100% in charge or discharge mode; @ maximum current rate. Output ripple negligible. Efficiency 0,77 typ. Power factor 0,9 typ. T.H.D 12% or less than 10% with appropriate filter. Transition time. From CH to DISCH. 130 milliseconds. Cooling: by forced air (fans). Ambient temperature up to 45°C. Protection grade IP 21. POWERMOSFETs linear regulation; no significant ripple figures on the D.C. output. The minimum dischargeable batteries voltage is also dependent of the circuit voltage drops. The modular CYTEST – LR system is an innovative product designed for automotive/industrial batteries testing for laboratory applications. The POWERMOS technologies allows to reduce the ripple current down to zero and allows better measures accuracy.

Plate Production

CBE - Grid Caster

The 24SP Grid Caster was developed to handle almost all alloy casting needs at realistic speeds of 12 to 18 casts per minute for 3.2mm down to 1 mm grid thickness. All features, from lead dispensing to grid stacking, are automatic. The 24SP is totally electric heated and self-contained. Cast grids are automatically aligned parallel to center of trim die and power fed in and out of trim die. (Die cooling available.) Mold spraying systems provide clean filtered air free of oil and water for both mold spray gun and vent bars.

CBE - Lead Strip Decoiler & Welder

Lead Strip Decoiler: Support structure realised entirely in Fe 37 and painted as per Client request. Two 1.5kW Motors for uncoiling operation. Pneumatic Piston for rotation of station to permit coil loading. CE Compliant Safety Guards. Suitable for use with all coils made from Rolling Mills. Remote and Local Control of Station through Industrial plc Interface. Suitable for Lines of upto 40mt/min.

Oxide Production

CBE - Oxide Ball Mill & Filter

The Ball Mill is suitable to produce lead oxide by means of friction between the cylinders produced before by the cylinder casting machine (Shimadzu method). Six parts compose it: Rotating room. It is made of steel, welded on the generatrix and mechanically worked, in order to enable the assembling using hubs, on which the ball bearings are assembled. Base and supports. The rotating room is supported by an electrically welded structural steel.

CBE - Fully Automatic Paste Mixer and Cone

Fully Automatic Paste Mixer and Reliable Additives Weighing and Addition. The following parts compose it: Paste tank. Cylindrical steel tank to contain the paste. The inner part of the tank is turned and thermally stretched.  The tank is closed in the upper part with a stainless steel AISI 304 lid, where there are the inspection doors, the tube for cooling air inlet and outlet, the tubes for the inlet of acid and water, and the lead inlet coming from the dosing silo. The paste mixed and ready to become paste is extracted using the door in the front part of the tank.

CBE - Lead Cylinder Casting Machine

The cylinder casting machine is studied to produce lead cylinders. Base. A strong steel framework enables to support the spheroid cast iron crown and the pinion. Spheroid crown: made of melting cast iron in which are machined 120 cavities. The cavities are filled with melted lead and finally cylinders are ejected vertically. Cylinder extraction system: made of 120 steel ejectors, which slide inside the crown cavity. The slide handling of the ejectors is assured by the ball bearings, which slide on a reversible cam.

Acid Dilution Plant

CBE - Acid Dilution Preparation & Retitration Plant

The dilution plant has been projected and built for an easy and fast use and to get results of good precision. The dilution happens in a mixing tank where water and sulphuric acid are dosed. The dosage of these liquids is gotten in ponder way, through the software that prepares the quantity of water and acid with the density for defect, since in this phase of filling the feeding of the liquids is coarsely performed for decreasing its times.

Assembly Department

CBE - Enveloping/Stacking Unit

The EN 130/I enveloping/stacking unit is an uncompromisingly sturdy machine assembled on a machine frame work. The machine is designed and manufactured in order to operate in line with C.O.S. equipment and undertakes, in automatic cycle, the following operations: cutting of the separators in any desired length with one bending line in the middle of the same separator, in order to facilitate the folding operation feeding of the plate into the separator welding of the separators by pressure stacking of the enveloped and no-enveloped plates accumulation of the combined plates in vertical position.

Finishing Lines

CBE - Finishing Line Machines

After the charging department, the batteries must be finished and checked before to be placed onto the market. Complete finishing lines can be produced following the plant’ requests, or only singles machines to be placed on existing lines.
