The use of the Contec oil mist separator (COMS) in the field of building construction is definitely very innovative and our system has proven again its advantages in environmental aspects.

A  Contec oil mist separator (COMS), type 9.200/762, with special frame construction for the lubrication system of the energy supply is being used on the latest cruise ship of the Celebrity Cruises shipping line. The energy requirements of the cruise ship - built by Meyer Werft Papenburg - is covered by four MAN Diesel & Turbo SE, type 14V48/60CR, diesel engines. The Contec oil mist separator, type 9.200/762, with upstream demister and M6 filter cartridge ensures the reduction of particle contamination. Throughput: 1,200 Nm³/h @ 50 Hz.
