CoolGuard geomembranes are engineered for use in areas where primary and/or secondary containment of hydrocarbons, liquids, aggressive chemicals, and other regulated substances is required. CoolGuard can handle many petrochemicals in primary contact.

CoolPro meets and exceeds the critical challenges of liquid containment (water protection/preservation and pollution control. Having developed the extrusion process for the application of polymers to its fabrics, Cooley has taken an integrated approach to engineering and production. To ensure the highest possible performance, CoolPro has been engineered with extra UV stabilizers and antioxidants.

CoolShield PVDF membranes are formulated with polyvinylidene fluoride, a highly non-reactive and pure thermoplastic fluoropolymer, generally used in applications requiring the highest purity, strength, and resistance to solvents, acids, and high temperatures. Cooley’s unique PVDF formulation is a fluorinated, semi-crystalline thermoplastic polymer obtained by radical polymerization of vinylidene flouride, making CoolShield among the most chemically inert of all polymers.

The CoolGuard Oasis floating cover is a durable, high-performance membrane specially designed for use on water reservoirs and certified (NSF Standard 61 and AS 4020) for potable water usage. Engineered with Cooley’s proprietary TPA polymer, the cover is highly resistant to oxidation, ozone, ultraviolet light, and weathering effects – and because the membrane does not cure, it allows for easy welding of strong, reliable seams during the entire lifetime of the cover. The CoolGuard Oasis floating cover’s optimized product design is reliable, cost-effective, and ensures consistent quality.

Our most recent offering is the C2 Plus PVC membrane, a non-Elvaloy standard PVC with high molecular weight plasticizer offering many of the advantages of C3 with a lower material cost. The highly flexible membrane is manufactured from UV-resistant PVC resin and high-molecular weight liquid plasticizer. The ‘Plus’ designation indicates the membrane has the same Cooley patented ultra-high-strength Aramid yarns located along the seam to offer maximum strength. C2 Plus PVC is a suitable option when a PVC membrane is optimal and budget constraints exist. If chemical or grease resistance is a concern, use Cooley C3 Plus. Material warranties are available up to 20 years.

CSP-TPO Plus (thermoplastic olefin) is the fastest-growing single-ply membrane in the market due to its high performance and low cost. It has excellent resistance to acids and is available in a variety of colors. CSP-TPO Plus comes with warranties up to 20 years, and like C3 Plus and C2 Plus PVC, it can be used in fully adhered, mechanically attached, and induction-welded applications. It offers many of the advantages of PVC, including fast, easy installation and energy-saving high reflectance. CSP-TPO Plus also incorporates the Cooley patented ultra-high-strength Aramid reinforced edge.

CoolThane was engineered for primary and secondary containment of fuels and other aggressive products and is available in ether and ester versions. Ether-based CoolThane offers more stability when exposed to water and has good resistance to petroleum hydrocarbons. Ester-based CoolThane has excellent resistance to petroleum hydrocarbons.

Cooley TXN vinyl/polyester material offers a base fabric and a coating formula specially designed for rigors of all-weather trucking applications. TXN defies rips, tears, abrasions, and punctures; it stays tough and handles easily, even at low temperatures.
