It is the only system designed specifically to retrofit to all vacuum pump types including water ring.  The C.S.L. Varivac system was the first vacuum pump control system for milking dairies of its type in the world. It was designed and developed by Corkill Systems in 1996. The system has won awards in 1998, 2002 and 2004 NZ National Fieldays plus NZ National ECANZ award in 1999, for energy savings and innovation. The controller will control all current types of vacuum pumps in use today including twin or multiple motor and pump setups including early model oil vane pumps. The CSL rotary milk lobe type pump is the first of its type internationally to be specifically designed and manufactured for dairy plants. Combined with the CSL Milkflow Controller, it’s the answer to the long-standing problems of compromising damage to milk solids in order to accommodate the large wash volumes required in today’s dairy plants.

CSL can manufacture fully automated Mobile Pump Transfer Stations inside shipping containers for many bulk milk transfer applications. The system revolves around a Danfoss variable speed drive in conjunction with high flow lobe pumps, this system with a special sensorless pump control program designed by CSL to limit damage to the milk while maintaining the maximum flow for quick emptying and filling of tankers and contractors tanks.
