Cortec - Needle and Seat Chokes

The CORTEC Model “NH” adjustable chokes provide oilfield customers a well-established design that has been in service worldwide for decades. It is based on the typical Cameron® H2 design and offers field interchangeability with common components. The CORTEC needle and seat trim choke offers an economy of operation and versatile utility in a traditional design that is familiar to oilfield personnel.

Cortec - Positive Chokes

The CORTEC model `PH` positive production choke offers the user a more economical design that is easy to maintain. The positive chokes are easily convertible to an adjustable choke. The CORTEC positive choke offers a field proven design that is both economical and user friendly.

CORTEC - Rotary Disc Positive Shut-off Capability Chokes

The CORTEC model RM2 and RM3 are MOV (Multiple Orifice Valve) that utilize a rotating disc positioned over a stationary disc and are known for their positive shut-off capability. These valves are direct replacements for Willis® `M2` & `M3` chokes. CORTEC Model RM2 and RM3 discs are made of tungsten carbide and are available with one or two holes with 64th inch equivalents.

Cortec - Worm-Gear Driven Drilling Choke

The CORTEC model CX-3 is a worm-gear driven drilling choke that can be hydraulically or electrically actuated. CORTEC’s gear assembly allows for fine incremental flow control adjustments. The block style body allows for the versatility to adapt to a wide variety of end connections types including ANSI, API and Hammer Union options. Manual override ability provides end users added insurance that control ability will be maintained in the event of power loss. Chokes and control systems can be configured to customer specifications upon request.

The CORTEC model CX3 is a hydraulic double acting piston operated drilling choke. CORTEC’s piston operator design allows for rapid flow control adjustments. The block style body allows for the versatility to adapt to a wide variety of end connections types including ANSI, API and Hammer Union options. Chokes and control systems can be configured to customer specifications upon request.

The block style body allows for the versatility to adapt to a wide variety of end connections types including ANSI, API and Threaded Union options. Manual override ability provides end users added insurance that control ability will be maintained in the event of power loss. The large bore 6” orifice provides effective flow control in high flow rate operations such as deep water managed pressure drilling. Chokes and control systems can be configured to customer specifications upon request.
