Champion Process custom engineered filter cartridges that are designed to efficiently capture solid contaminants, by removing particles and debris from chemicals, gas, air, water and other process streams.

Pleated cartridge designs offer fixed pore media which maximizes effective particle removal. This prevents particle unloading and fiber migration during options. Surface-type filter cartridges capture the contaminants on the outermost layer and allow for high solids loading. Champions pleated filters are offered in a wide range of medias and micron ratings to fit your application.

Standard filter bags are typically manufactured with a metal ring, either galvanized carbon steel or stainless steel, sewn in the top of the filter bag. Woven fabric handles are also sewn. Another design incorporates a molded plastic top. These tops typically are polypropylene or polyester with molded lifting handles. Various types of tops are available to fit specific manufacturers’ housings. Welded Construction Bags have all seams and the top collar sonically welded, enhancing filtration quality.

Depth-type filter cartridges capture the contaminants throughout the layered filter structure. Continuous-wound cartridge filters are effective in removing non rigid contaminants such as gels and waxes from a process stream. Champion’s depth filters are offered in a wide range of medias and micron ratings to fit your application.

Champion Process offers string wound filters as a part of our Cartridge depth filtration line. Micron ratings are from 0.5 micron to 150 micron. A variety of custom lengths are available.
