AHRS-IMU-VRU

CTi - Vertical Reference Unit (VRU)

The CS-VR100/200 is a Vertical Reference Unit (VRU) that measures roll and pitch by using the combination of accelerometers and gyroscopes. An onboard fusion algorithm is implemented to take the raw sensor data and convert it into angles. These devices are fairly simple to work with but are also a very reliable and an excellent choice in applications which the user only needs to monitor one or two angles. The VR-x sensor is not just simple and reliable, but equipped with a robust frame and is fairly cost effective.

CTi - Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU)

The CS-IM100/200 Inertial Measurement Unit is a 9 degree-of-freedom (DOF) inertial measurement device. The 3-axis accelerometer can be used to sense gravitational acceleration as well as motion. Rotation-rate can be sensed by the 3-axis gyroscope and the magnetometer provides 3-axis measurements of the magnetic field. This calibrated MEMS sensing combination provides a wealth of dynamic measurements to support a wide range of applications. The CS-IMxxx is a cost effective option packaged with a robust housing, interface options, and a simple set up.

CTi - Attitude and Heading Reference System (AHRS)

The CS-AH100/200 Attitude and Heading Reference System (AHRS) is a 9 DOF system measuring with 3-dimensional orientation (roll, pitch, and yaw angles). The combination of accelerometers, gyroscope, and magnetometers are used internally by the sensor’s fusion algorithm to achieve this. This sensor has applications in attitude control and robotics as well as in vehicle localization and as part of a telemetry module. The advanced user has access to the underlying 3-axis accelerometer, 3-axis gyroscope, and 3-axis magnetometer measurements. The robust housing, interface options, and simple ASCII communication protocol means setup is minimal, and allowing the user to begin testing quicker.

CTi - OEM Inclinometer / Tilt Sensor Module

The TILT-05 OEM Inclinometer / Tilt Sensor module is a high performance, small size, dual axis inclinometer (or inclination sensor) that employs the latest accelerometer technology in the form of miniature MEMS inclinometer sensors. CTi Sensors’ TILT-05 OEM Tilt Sensor is designed as a low cost, low power consumption and high bandwidth tilt sensor module to offer an ideal solution for embedded systems and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) inclination sensor applications. TILT-05 OEM Inclinometer benefits from a 3.3V TTL UART interface, three-axis accelerometer which can provide ±90° two dimensional measurement range with a high resolution (0.1° | mg). This simple yet sophisticated OEM sensor is reliable enough to be used in industrial environment for various types of applications such as monitoring and tracking machinery, buildings, and even solar panels.  It can also be implemented for leveling and tilt sensing in any control system.

CTi - Analog & Digital OEM Inclinometers

The TILT-15 series inclinometer / tilt sensor module is a high accuracy, dual axis analog & digital inclinometer (or inclination sensor) that employs the latest accelerometer technology in the form of miniature MEMS inclinometer sensors. CTi Sensors’ TILT-15 Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) is a fully calibrated, small board level, dual axis inclinometer which provides excellent accuracy over the full operating temperature range. The TILT-15 is available with both analog voltage output (0.3 to 4.7 V), and digital TTL UART. The programmable bandwidth enables optimized measurement for a wide range of dynamic operations.
