With life extension being implemented by more clients to maximise the value of existing plant, Cumberland offers a full refurbishment, upgrade and life extension to existing electrochlorination systems. This can incorporate partial facility replacement or systems designed and built using our own or other manufacturer’s electrolysers. Unlike Cumberland many manufacturers have exited the electrochlorination market and we are pleased to work with our clients to use existing equipment to minimize capital cost of life extension projects. Cumberland are experts at manufacture of a wide range of industry standard electrolysers including Sanilec and SeaClor.

Cumberland are a full scope service provider specialising in electrochlorination, this means not only do we provide among the best standard and bespoke plant and equipment in the World but we are also able to work with our clients, contractors and end users, on a turnkey basis. Cumberland typically can provide full mechanical and electrical installation or supervisory services; however we can also provide civil design and construction as well as coordination with other site disciplines.

Cumberland offers a complete handover protocol, which includes full on-site testing, commissioning and approval. Client operator training is carried out during and after the contract period. With service capabilities available in Europe, North Africa, Middle East and the Far East, Cumberland is available to support clients on our or other manufacturers equipment. Service contracts are available for annual overhauls or full service including operation and maintenance of all system equipment.

Cumberland also manufacture containerised systems for permanent or temporary installations. These plants are fully installed and commissioned in ISO freight containers suitable for sea freight transportation. The pre-packaged nature of the plants including power, lighting, ventilation and air conditioning eliminate the need for structural civil work and buildings at site and allow quick and easy production of hypochlorite from delivery of equipment. This full turnkey capability sets Cumberland apart from all other competitors in this market.
