Cyn manages a broad range of waste streams to help our clients minimize risk and maintain compliance. These include non-hazardous and hazardous solids, liquids and sludge. We provide our clients with a comprehensive package of waste management services from pre-shipment characterization and approval to off-site disposal and/or treatment recycling.

Cyn operates a PCB storage facility in Dover, New Hampshire which accepts only PCBs or PCB items including but not limited to, dielectric fluids, transformers, capacitors, contaminated wastewaters, soils, sludges, contaminated oils, etc. which are deemed to be regulated according to 40 CFR 761. PCB wastes are transported by Cyn or other licensed transporters from the site of generation to Cyn`s PCB facility. The majority of PCBs and PCB items accepted at the facility are transported in Cyn`s vehicles, however, PCBs and PCB items can be delivered by other properly licensed transporters. Cyn also operates a waste water treatment facility in Dover, NH.

Experience has shown that although each remediation project is unique, a consistent approach to corrective action can reduce costs, legal liability and non-compliance risks. Cyn’s Field Service Technicians are continually trained and outfitted with state-of-the-art equipment and resources to perform site remediation in a safe, timely and economical manner. Cyn can coordinate with environmental engineering firms to implement and augment traditional and innovative remedial technologies.

Cyn is New England’s largest waste oil recycler. With a State-of-the-art facility, a modern fleet of vehicles and trained professional drivers, we are able to provide safe, reliable services to both small and large generators. Our drivers are specially trained in the use of field screening tests to ensure that the material being picked up is not contaminated. After transport to Cyn’s facility, a sample of the product is tested at our on-site laboratory to ensue that it meets state and federal specifications. Recyclable material is then micron filtered, blended and transported to approved facilities. Contaminated waste oil is transported under a hazardous waste manifest to licensed facilities for proper disposal.

Packaging and removal of small quantities of hazardous chemical wastes requires a full working knowledge of chemical compatibility, and EPA, State and D.O.T. regulations. Cyn offers full service lab pack disposal at competitive prices. We can safely classify, segregate, package, transport and dispose of hazardous materials generated by industrial or institutional laboratories, schools, and universities. Our lab pack chemists and technicians are OSHA certified and have extensive field experience working with hazardous materials and wastes.

Utilizing standardized EPA and ASTM methodologies, our laboratory provides a wide range of analytical services to help meet all of your testing needs. This in-house capability allows us to ensure quality control, and enables us to provide rapid turn-around for your project - saving you time and money. Our fuels laboratory assists in the profiling and acceptance of waste oil as well as hazardous waste characterization for manifesting. This laboratory operates on a STAT basis and is always ready to support your needs through standardized testing or custom analyses where required.
