CyNexo is working on Industry 4.0 platforms to support small and medium-sized enterprises in adopting the right technology for closed-loop quality and process evaluation and optimization. Thanks to the extensive experience acquired in supporting scientific research and that brought onboard by its founding partners, CyNexo is able to offer companies a full range of support for the creation of prototypes starting from the feasibility study and through to the engineering and construction of the final product. We have a broad experience in the integration of systems and in the creation of customized sensors. One of our strengths is the acquisition, management and analysis of signals and information deriving from the system. Never more than now have we become aware that to improve our processes we must first get to know them, and that this knowledge cannot be obtained without having the correct data acquisition and analysis processes in place.

Neurophysiology Experimental Setup
Thanks to the experience consolidated by the CyNexo team building and maintaining SISSA’s experimental setups, we are today able to conceive, design and build custom setups covering the full range of mechanical, electronic and software aspects. We have experience building setups controlled via “desktop PC” software as well as in real-time systems with precisions below the millisecond. We are able to create embedded systems based on a range of platforms, such as microcontrollers, FPGAs or National Instruments hardware, selecting that most appropriate for the challenge at hand. Model aoLED - Optogenetics LED
aoLED integrates into a single device a linear and stable LED driver and fiber-coupled LED for use in optogenetics. The device is a compact and powerful all-in-one optogenetic stimulus tool able to generate a high bandwidth (up to 1MHz) and high intensity light signal through a high NA 200um core fibre. The custom designed electronics allow high precision analog signal modulation, opening the possibility to experimenting with new light shaping such as ramps, sinusoids or modulated signals, as well as fast digital modulations to generate sharp and stable stimuli.

Model Sniff-0 - Olfactometer
Sniff-0 is an olfactometer with a brand-new innovative design, feature rich, multi-channel, high-speed, accurate and easily transportable in the form of a normal suitcase. The number of channels can be customized according to your needs up to a maximum of 13 + 1 channels, while “tailor made” versions can also be created according to your needs. Thanks to a standard controller combined with highly optimized proprietary electronics, Sniff-0 can provide complete control of your experiments, ensuring speed, accuracy, and reliability. Some additional features such as automated proportional valves, the measurement of propagation delays and channel-by-channel auto-calibration of the system drastically reduce configuration times and ensure maximum repeatability of experimental protocols.
