D&D - Axial Flow Pump
The Axial Flow, or Propeller Pump, moves water in a straight line or with the axis of the pump casting. Liquid is drawn into the suction bell and pushed out the discharge with minimal friction and no change of direction. Axial pumps can be mounted either vertically, horizontally or adapted to discharge at various angles. The advantage of D&D designed Axial Flow Pumps is infinite control, which is not possible when using conventional systems. In addition, the hydraulic motor and piping are incorporated into the suction bell, resulting in an uninterrupted discharge flow. Complete Axial Flow Systems are available with THE RUGGED ONE TM, the heavy-duty hydraulic power unit manufactured exclusively by D&D. Available in either trailer or skid mount.
D&D - Slurry Digester Pump
The Digester Pump has all the advantages of our Sludge Pump; but because of the design of the blade angle on the impeller, it provides a cutting action as well as pumping an extremely high percentage of solid content liquids. The Digester Pump impeller is of the tapered vane design. It permits the water to enter the bottom eye of the housing, past the “Agitator Impeller”, and accelerates the liquid in a radial fashion out of the concentric discharge, usually in one revolution.
D&D - Sludge Pump
Due to the versatility of the sludge pump, many users prefer it even though the horse power per gallon is greater than the Trash Pump. The additional power requirements and somewhat reduced volume of the Sludge Pump, is more than offset by the extended life of the unit in certain abrasive pumping requirements. The Sludge Pump is ideal for pumping mud, sewage, silt, and other viscous materials, that cannot be pumped with conventional lift pumps. Sludge pumps are available in 4″ and 6″ diameter discharge.
D&D - Submersible Trash Pumps
Submersible Trash Pumps are designed to pump water containing solids such as mud, weed, trash, sticks, and other foreign materials that cannot be pumped with conventional centrifugal pumps. The semi-open intake design permits the inflow of water at varying rates and does not require any suction lines. As the inflow of water increases or decreases, the pump motor can be regulated to handle the varying conditions at maximum wear on the pumphead. Whatever the dewatering requirements may be, from gradual seepage of water into the manhole, or the dewatering of a borrow pit or quarry that requires the removal of millions of gallons of water per day, there is a D&D built pump for the job. Trash pumps are available is sizes 4″ through 18″.
