The Radiological Detection System (RDS) Base Unit is used with six different radiation detecting probes for detecting and characterizing various types of radiation. Designed to eliminate interoperability challenges, conveniently select the appropriate radiation readings to give you the correct information to make the right call every time.

The Radiological Detection System (RDS) Alpha-Beta Probe is used for the measurement of surface contamination survey meter of both alpha and beta radiation. It has dual detection capability, having both a phosphor scintillator and a zinc sulfide PMT. The probe can discriminate between Alpha and Beta simultaneously. Designed and tested for military ruggedness to meet both military/defense requirements and industrial applications.

The Radiological Detection System (RDS) Small Area Beta Gamma (SABG) Probe is used for detecting beta and gamma radiation. It is designed to be held in the operator’s hand for beta/gamma contamination monitoring work. The probe uses a Geiger-Mueller (GM) Pancake Tube to provide a 15.5 cm2 sensitive detection area in a small and lightweight probe. The unit is supplied with a Detector Protective Cover, a removable ‘clip-on’ thin shield for protecting the front face of the probe. An optional aluminum-clad lead shield is available for performing radiological detection operations in high background radiation areas.

The Radiological Detection System (RDS) Beta Photon Probe detects beta and high-energy photons (gamma and x-ray) radiation. The Beta Photon Probe is part of the RDS probe family and is used with the Base Unit for radiological detection operations. It is designed to be held in the operator’s hand or attached to the Telescoping Probe Handle.

The MiniRad-DX is an advanced Personal Radiation Detector (PRD), a handheld security and inspection device, that detects emissions from radioactive material. The MiniRad-DX system can operate as a stand-alone detector or as the roving detection part of a larger MiniRad-DX and Rad-DX network for monitoring a building or facility.

The Rad-DX is a mesh networked radiation detector with sensitive scintillator crystals that can be mounted just about anywhere. The Rad-DX runs on the D-tect SensorNet, allowing the user to monitor a full network of Rad-DX units from a tablet or PC. Data including dose rates can be viewed real-time or from past event logs.

A 0.5” diam x 1.5” Cesium Iodide detector coupled with a high-sensitivity photo-multiplier tube picks up gamma radiation tens of meters away and offers more than 100 times the sensitivity of most Geiger counters.

The Sentry Remote Monitoring System Generation 2 is a high-security networked monitoring station that allows real-time sensor and video monitoring by multiple operators across secure and encrypted data links. The PC monitoring software is easy to use including automatic data and video logging. The Sentry-RMS Gen 2 is heavily encrypted and protected from physical tampering and network hacking.

The Sentry-Seals are designed to work in tandem with the Sentry-RMS. Whether it is the tethered or wireless version, the Sentry-Seal connects to the Sentry-RMS or other alarm or monitoring system and to the asset to be protected. With the fiber-optic cable (shown in black) the Sentry-Seal prevents access to the asset without removing the cable. When the signal from the cable is interrupted the Sentry-Seal sends an alarm to whatever system it is connected to. The Sentry-Seals also have additional sensors to further secure every asset entrusted to it.
