Our Classic Range of Garages offers a wide variety of over 2000 combinations of style, size, colour and height. You can choose from many different wall finishes, fascias, doors and windows. The Roof can be chosen from our range including Flat Sloping Roofs, Pitched Roofs or Tiled/Slated Roofs. Our unique manufacturing process allows us to have a tongue and groove detail at the tighter fitting joints between the concrete panels. This combined with thicker panels gives a stronger and more watertight construction than our competitors. This attention to detail and commitment to strength and quality is carried through all elements of the design, manufacture and construction of our Garages.

We build Classic attached garages in a wide variety of types of construction and style. Our pre-cast concrete range of garages are perfectly suited to attaching to a house. They can be designed with a flat roof, a lean-to roof, a sheeted, tiled or slated roof. A garage of any sort attached to your house may not require Planning permission but will in all cases require Building Warrant approval from the local authority. We will be able to apply for that on your behalf and we can provide you advice on how to satisfy the Building Regulations with regard to fire resistance, drainage connections, etc.

D Welsh Builders have been designing, manufacturing and building concrete garages for many decades. These are garages made from concrete wall panels. We manufacture these panels at our factory near Beith, Ayrshire. The panels are made by pouring wet concrete into specially designed and constructed steel moulds. The concrete is then vibrated thoroughly to allow a high level of compaction, then onto the surface we apply natural stone roughcast chippings or coloured render with roughcast chippings. These are carefully tamped down into place, the panel is then left to mature in its steel mould for approximately four days.

Garden Buildings, Storage Facilities and Motor Bike Garages. Our pre-cast concrete panel system which we use for our concrete sectional Popular and Classic garages can also be used to produce smaller buildings or buildings which may not be used in the way a garage would typically be used.

Built together they are used by local authorities, housing associations and private developers to provide garages at convenient distances from buildings where space to locate them within the grounds of the building is not possible or desired.

We use our concrete wall panel system to design, manufacture and build a wide range of buildings from small garden stores or motorcycle sheds, through workshops and sub-station enclosures to larger green keepers stores and workshops.

Walls internally lined with damp resistant , strong “fermacid”wall board with insulation board behind , finished with pvc skirting and facing.

As an alternative to an up and over door on the front of your garage you may choose to have Hormann sectional overhead doors. There is a huge range of styles, sizes and colours of doors available. Sectional overhead doors offer a higher level of draught proofing and higher level of insulation than an up and over door. They are ideal if you are thinking of using your garage as a playroom or as a gym or if you are looking for a door which doesn’t swing out as it opens.
