Forms are produced in a variety of sizes and shapes, textures and patterns which allows easy incorporation into any project design. Pallette Stone’s precast materials are extremely durable and dependable, which minimizes your long-term maintenance costs and maximizes life-time cost effectiveness. We have the ability to produce precast components before you need them at your project site, saving time over alternative construction methods. And Pallette Stone’s precast materials are fabricated indoors, where critical variables such as mix design, weather conditions, temperature and consolidation are closely monitored and controlled. A rigorous inspection and quality control process is applied to every product to ensure it provides a long service life in harsh environments.
Ready-Mix Concrete
Pallette Stone Corporation and Jointa Galusha, LLC — proud members of the D.A. Collins family of businesses — operate state-of-the-art concrete plants which use our own aggregate in combination with cement to produce a variety of ready-mix products in accordance with various specifications. Our plants are fully automated to precisely regulate the quality of the concrete product. We begin by working with your team of architects, engineers and contractors to develop a formula for the specialized mix that will meet your needs. Then, stone and sand from our quarries are evaluated by our Quality Control Laboratory to ensure that the raw materials meet state standards and those set by the American Concrete Institute. The stone and sand are combined with cement, water and additives in our batch plants and precisely weighed by the most advanced computerized batch systems to ensure the mixture meets the specific mix specifications. The components are blended and mixed for quality and consistency prior to being delivered to the project site. To assist in the placement of the product, we have our own line of concrete pump trucks with a variety of booms. This equipment is maintained and upgraded frequently to utilize new technologies that prevent plugging and down-time. All of Jointa Galusha’s and Pallette Stone’s products — including high strength, low strength and Flowable Fill varieties — are manufactured to satisfy our customers’ highest expectations.
Asphalt Concrete
Pallette Stone Corporation and Jointa Galusha, LLC — proud members of the D.A. Collins family of businesses — operate several state-of-the-art asphalt plants in northern New York. Consisting of a combination of drum mix plants and batch mix plants, our facilities are highly automated to deliver consistent quality mixes to meet the most technically complex requirements. The Companies’ asphalt mixes can be applied to create a variety of driving surfaces. Our products include hot mixes, for use as road base, binder or top course, and cold mix, for winter and temporary patching. With multiple asphalt plants and extensive storage capacity, we have the ability to meet the most demanding production needs of our customers. All materials manufactured by Pallette Stone and Jointa Galusha are rigorously evaluated by our in-house staff of highly-trained quality control technicians for consistency and compliance with specifications. Quality is maintained at the highest regulatory and special agency standards to ensure exceptional surface quality and durability.
