Hori-Drain® is a pocket style Prefabricated Horizontal Drain (PHD) that improves soft ground. It is made of a mechanically strong PP core and a nonwoven filter jacket that is specialized for soil improvement and drainage works. Hori-Drain® expedites soil consolidation by facilitating rapid drainage of pore water discharged through vertical drains installed in soft ground. Hori-Drain® is installed by connecting with a part of prefabricated vertical drain(Verti-Drain®) exposed outside of the ground after installation. Hori-Drain® can effectively and economically replace the horizontal layer of natural aggregates(sand and gravel) thanks to its high level of drainage capacity. Core structure of 山 shape can prevent filter insert to water channels under high pressure in comparison to other types of core structures more effectively.

The product quality of Verti-Drain® is assured by many certificates including ISO9001, CE, Q-mark, R-mark, Eco-Label, etc. Since Verti-Drain® is produced with filter materials having AOS suitable for the improvement of soft soil, filter clogging can be prevented over a long term. Verti-Drain® is resistant to friction and scratching caused during its installation and also has a physically durable structure with a high strength. Verti-Drain® has a high resistance to bacteria and chemicals. Verti-Drain® is materially and ecologically stable since it is made of polymers which don’t cause contaminants.

Bio Verti-Drain® is an eco-friendly biodegradable Prefabricated Vertical Drain (PVD) for soft ground improvement, which well reproduces physical advantages of Verti-Drain®. Bio Verti-Drain® is biologically degraded after installation and ground consolidation in natural soil conditions without leaving any residual plastic behind. Bio Verti-Drain® is the first prefabricated vertical drain which obtained “Eco-Label” from Ministry of Environment of Korea.

Bio Hori-Drain® is an eco-friendly product which can economically replace existing drainage system using natural sand and aggregates thanks to its high discharge capacity. Bio Hori-Drain® is composed of PBS(Poly Butylene Succinate) affiliated with aliphatic polyester and PLA(Poly Lactic Acid) extracted from cornstarch.
