Storage Tank Bottom Leak Detection Service
One cup of oil can contaminate an Olympic size pool. In most cases hundreds of gallons of oil seep into the ground before a spill is discovered. Environmental impact, Costly repairs, Loss of revenue, Cleanup costs, Safety issues, Demo costs, Downtime.
Floating Roof Pontoons Service
We can provide you with the most sensitive leak test available for floating roofs. Whether you need a leak test to determine if the floating roof is "Fit for Service" or if you are having difficulty locating a known leak. We scan the top of roof as well as the bottom of the roof. We can locate "bulkhead" leaks that separate the compartments - to prevent one compartment from leaking into an adjacent compartment (Vapor or Liquid Tight as required by API).
Process Vessels and Pipe Leak Detection Service
Leaks, fires, explosions, toxic gas release and process upsets are just a few consequences of leaking hydrocarbons. Pressure vessels and piping are designed to operate safely at specific pressures and temperatures. The various code requirements and standards require a pressure test prior to placing the equipment in service.
Vacuum Unit Leak Detection Service
We can test very large systems such as distillation columns or small systems such as condensers and turbines. Circulating water leaks in condensers can result from penetrations through the tube walls, from joints between the tubes and tube-sheet, or from other penetrations between the water box and condenser shell. Contaminants in the circulating water can change condensate chemistry, which can cause boiler or steam generator corrosion. Poor water chemistry can also cause stress corrosion cracking of turbine components.
Underground Pipes and Cable Leak Detection Service
We can locate leaks in underground piping to within a few feet to minimize excavation costs. An accurate path (route) of the underground pipeline must be known.
