Dart Sensors - Alcohol Ignition Interlock Sensor

This CENELEC Interlock Sensor is intended for ignition interlock device or breath alcohol ignition interlock device (IID or BAIID). It comfortably meets the requirement of the severe CENELEC test specification.

Dart Sensors - Professional Breath Alcohol Sensor

This breath alcohol sensor is intended for professional applications or removable interlock devices (type 3 only). Dart Sensors breath alcohol sensors are of the two-electrode electrochemical type, requiring a pumped sample of air to be delivered into either tube. In the presence of ethanol vapour a small direct current is produced; the breath alcohol sensor requires no power supply of its own but this current requires amplification to make it readable using external data collection equipment. Type 5 is for replacements in legacy applications only. Type 4A is the standard formulation for normal humidity and temperature. Type 3A is suitable for use where resistance to extreme climatic conditions is required. The sensor is available with pins or bare wires for soldered applications. NOTE: The connection pins are intended to be solderless. A matching socket part number is available, or spring clips can be used

This 11mm Breath Alcohol Sensor range is suitable for consumer applications. This product is appropriate for frequent use or where a positive result is likely. Dart Sensors breath alcohol sensors are of the two-electrode electrochemical type, requiring a pumped sample of air to be delivered into either tube. Dart Sensors - Transdermal Alcohol Sensor

Transdermal Alcohol Sensors represent a significant advancement in monitoring alcohol consumption. This transdermal sensor is designed for continuous monitoring of blood alcohol levels through passive sampling in discreet next-to-skin designs. Well-suited to default-zero applications such as ‘sobriety tag’ compliance monitoring. Also applicable in R&D projects seeking to investigate and codify the relationship between BAC level and alcohol detectable via the cellular interstitial fluid. Such technology offers a non-invasive, continuous method for alcohol monitoring, which could be particularly useful in medical, legal, and personal health contexts. Despite their potential, the accuracy of these sensors can vary, and they are not yet a replacement for traditional blood, breath, or urine alcohol tests. However, as technology advances, these sensors could become an integral tool for individuals and professionals in managing and understanding alcohol consumption.

Dart Sensors - Formaldehyde Module Sensor

A formaldehyde sensor using Dart Sensors wafer components is now available as a pre-calibrated module, outputting a ppm formaldehyde value, thus obviating the need for customer calibration. Available with a wired connected, WZ-S, and a pinned connection, WZ-S-K.

Dart Sensors - HCHO Formaldehyde Sensor, 11MM

This HCHO formaldehyde sensor is of the two-electrode electrochemical type, operating by the diffusion principle and as such requires no external sampling hardware. In the presence of formaldehyde gas a small direct current is produced; the sensor requires no power supply of its own but this current requires amplification to make it readable using external data collection equipment. Two electrode design does not require a power source. Lower detection limit of 30ppb.
