Installation

We have a team of highly skilled installation engineers with multiple levels of security clearances. Our team can attend vessels globally and ensure that our products are installed and commissioned to the highest quality standards. With over 30 years of installations in all countries all over the globe, our team of highly skilled installation engineers will ensure Datum product or service is installed and commissioned to the highest quality standards. We also have a global support network of Datum approved installation engineers, all of whom carry official Datum installation licenses, ensuring we can support our customers wherever the location, whatever the time.

Sensor Calibration & Repair Services

Datum Electronics provides professional torque calibration and repair services for both our own sensors and third‑party torque transducers. All calibrations are performed using high‑accuracy, UK‑based facilities with results traceable to international and British standards. Our service process includes: • Inspection & Reporting - Every sensor received is inspected, and a detailed report is issued to the customer. Any faults, wear, or damage identified during inspection are clearly documented. • Repair & Remanufacture Options - If repairs or component replacements are required, we issue a formal quotation. Work proceeds only once approved by the customer. Any parts replaced during repair are covered by a 12‑month warranty. • Full recalibration - Once repair (if needed) is complete, the sensor undergoes full calibration. A traceable calibration certificate, valid for 12 months, is supplied upon completion. For UKAS calibration speak to our team.
