Connected Systems
deister - Flexible Controller
The controller DCU 3 / DCU 4 is a multi-purpose solution suitable for diverse applications. The versatile hardware concept makes it possible to connect a wide variety of different extension modules via the local high-speed bus. The basic version is equipped with all components to con-trol either a door with two readers or a lock chamber.
deister - Controller for Contactless Identification
The IDC 2 was primarily developed to serve as a controller for contactless identification at access points for authorized persons and vehicles – in conjunction with long range readers such as the TSU 100 or TSU 200 – to control entry and exit barriers and gate systems. Utilizing online readers such as the PRD 5 it is possible to supervise standard doors for access control purposes. Administrative tasks to configure the device itself as well as create the corresponding authorization data for persons and vehicles are performed using the associated Commander Connect software.

Access Control
Biometric Access Control Reader
The template is either stored in the memory of the BPx 12 or directly on your access control card. To protect your private data as much as possible we recommend you store this information on your access control card. The chameleon concept allows you to generate a customized technology mix and also gives you the opportunity to design and colour the outside of the unit to fit your building requirements. At any time you can efficiently change the biometric sensor or the chosen reader by just plug and play and without changing the system which controls your security needs.
deister - Smart Cipher Box for Maximum Security
The Smart Cipher Box (SCB) is the connecting link between deister electronic readers and customized interface configurations. Protocol and interface conversion is possible with an SCB to convert the internal "deBus" protocol to any desired synchronous or asynchronous customer protocol. That makes it possible for customers to use the entire range of deister electronic readers while retaining their own family of protocols.
Connected Systems
Airlink - Digital Locking Systems
The Airlink Spot ALS 20 / ALS 20 P are designed to connect the door release elements distributed within a building to a wireless network. Using the Airlink protocol it is possible to operate as many as 8 electronic digital cylinders and other hardware wirelessly. The Airlink Spot is available with a partyline-capable RS485 interface as well as an Ethernet/PoE interface. It is possible to operate the Airlink Spot both in a frequency band in which 100% duty cycle operations, fast data rates and low transmitting power are required as well as in a band in which only 1% duty cycle operations and a slow data rate are required, but by contrast a higher transmitting power.
Digital Locking Systems
Digital Cylinder
The digital cylinder is a universal-type, quickly installed door release element. A specially developed modular extension system makes it possible to extend both sides of the cylinder by up to 15 mm in 5 mm increments respectively. That means it is possible to create 76 different cylinder lengths with just 5 standard cylinder bodies. For installation purposes it is possible to remove the rotary knob on both sides from the shafts. The designed-in ability to totally dismantle this cylinder opens up new storage and service options. The mechanical side is fixed. Supplied without a reader unit the basic mechatronic body can be fitted with a variety of reader heads. These can be mounted either from the front (simple battery change) or from the rear (increased security). MIFARE DESFire or LEGIC advant technology are preferred when printable passive ID cards are used.
Long Range Identification
deister - Interfaces deBus Converter
The DBC converter was specifically developed to convert the universal deBus protocol to any synchronous or asynchronous customer protocol desired. The deBus protocol is integrated in most deister electronic products; consequently, customers are able to continue working with their own interfaces and protocols while they are also able to take advantage of the entire palette of reader products from deister electronics. The DBC is also able to decode smartframe-encoded transponder data. Customized and industrial protocols as well as standard access control protocol formats can be supported on the output side to the access control system. Two control inputs make it possible to deploy presence loops; this ensures the reading process is triggered only when a vehicle is standing in the right position.
People Safety
Baby Transponder
The BTA 1 transponder is a major component in the amanTag Human Protection System. When someone enters a locator`s transmit field, the baby transponder is activated and sends the device locator ID together with its own transponder identifier to the corresponding transceiver. An alarm is triggered immediately if this transponder is not accompanied by an associated assistance transponder in the same detection field; the alarm can be switched through the built-in isolated contact in the transceiver or forwarded to a third-party system via an interface. The baby transponder can be placed in nappy pants available as an option.
