Deltech - High-Temperature Furnaces
Ultra-high-temperature thermal processing is challenging, with stringent requirements placed on furnace materials to withstand extreme hot zones and harsh chemistries. Most high-temperature furnaces require inert atmospheres or even vacuum conditions to heat materials up to 2000 degrees Celsius. That is what sets Deltech’s ultra-high-temperature furnaces apart. When you can’t accomplish your research and development (R&D) goals without sustained operation at 2000 degrees Celsius, consider our specialty furnaces. We specialize in custom builds based on your unique requirements, so you can be assured that your new system will function to the highest performance parameters needed.Deltech - Bottom Load Furnaces
Bottom loading furnaces (BLF) are commonly used for large, heavy samples that require temperature uniformity throughout the heating process. Also known as elevator furnaces, bottom load furnaces are available in benchtop and production sizes and come in two parts. The main body of the furnace remains stationary and the load platform, or kiln car, is a piece that is raised into position.Control Systems
Every Deltech control system is certified by Intertek to be UL508A compliant. Standard safety features include an emergency stop, door interlocks, safety relay, and isolation switches. Nema One enclosures are standard. they feature a side hinged door to provide easy access to system components. The Eurotherm 3504 autotuning programmable temperature controller is our standard; other controllers are available upon request. You can download a free software program, ITools for the 3504. Combined with a communications card (RS485, Modbus, TCP, etc.) and a purchased product key allows data logging. Stand-alone data loggers are also available; these send a .csv file to your computer. Our use of power meters that report voltage, amperage, and power consumption – all in one compact unit for both single and three phase systems – reduce the size of the control cabinet required in most cases.
Front Loading Furnaces
Front loading furnaces are suitable for various applications at a range of temperatures and are considered general-purpose furnaces. They are commonly used for heating treating and annealing, ceramics and powdered metal and sintering. Available in both benchtop and production sizes and for operation in air and inert atmospheres, front loading furnaces and kilns are ideal for operators requiring some flexibility that other furnaces do not offer. Front loading furnaces are available with temperatures from 1500 -1800 degrees Celsius and can be manufactured in standard sizes and custom configurations.
