Deniz Quality provides Ultrasonic Testing (UT) services for the detection and location of discontinuities, material composition anlysis and thickness measurement.
In ultrasonic testing (UT), ultrasonic probes move on a straight line and at a constant speed until they come across a surface and send ultrasonic waves into the material.
While these ultrasonic waves are transmitting, they cause reflection of some of the wave energy. Analysis of the reflected energy and the amount of transmitted energy provides information about the magnitude and location of the discontinuity encountered.
