Classification and homogenization of scrap metal. Once received the materials at any of our plants, we classify and standardize the scraps adapting the materials to our client’s needs. To achieve that, we have high powered press shears in all our plants for the best treatment of ferrous scraps.

We, at Derichebourg Spain, recycle all kind of steel and iron scraps at all our plants. We have a strict quality and content control with own equipment (mass spectrometry devices) and a high qualified personnel.

We are specialists on dismantlement and demolition of buildings and industrial facilities. We have experience on nuclear and thermal power plant dismantlement and scraping of trains, big deposits and all kind of heavy machinery.

At Derichebourg Spain we close the lead life cycle. We recycle automobile batteries and other lead compounds to obtain pure lead ingots and other lead alloys, which are used as raw material mainly by the car battery manufacturers. We complete the process of battery recycling: collection, grinding, separation, melting, refine and/or alloying, combining high performance and effectiveness with an absolute respect for the Environment.

One of the business lines that we are strongly betting on in the last years, is the WEEE (Waste of Electric and Electronic Equipment) Recycling, which needs a different treatment than traditional scraps.

All kind of metallic containers, specially aluminum and steel cans, are collected and stocked temporally at Derichebourg Spain plants, and then transferred to specific treatment plants.

In Derichebourg Spain we have been pioneers in the ecological management of End-of-Life Vehicles (ELVs), participating in the ELV Recycling Framework Agreement and collaborating closely with the Integral System for the Management of Automobile Waste (SIGRAUTO).
