The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) is a design code and standards setting body for many different products. ASME established the RTP-1 standard for fiberglass reinforced polymer vessels in 1989. The standard is widely held to be the most stringent and complete tool for qualifying fabricators specifying high quality FRP vessels. The standard establishes rules for:

Diamond Fiberglass, an ASME RTP-1 Certified Fabricator, offers single wall storage tanks to 14-feet in diameter. Volumes range from 100 gallons to 45,000 gallons, or more depending on customer needs and specifications. Single wall storage vessels are used in many different services, including corrosive chemicals, water (RO, DI, Potable, Raw Industrial, Waste, Brine), food products, oil and gas (produced water and drilling fluids) and more. Resin and materials are appropriately selected to meet the service requirements.

In most cases, Diamond Fiberglass can provide its single wall storage vessel as a double wall option for catastrophic containment of chemicals.  This option is useful for tank retrofits where secondary containment is required but a containment basin is not present or feasible to install.

Diamond provides mix tanks for a variety of process applications which are engineered to the unique service requirements provided by the customer.

Process vessels are Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) tanks designed for a specific purpose other than bulk storage of liquids. They may be used in batch or continuous operations. Diamond has considerable experience in the fabrication of process vessels, including:

Diamond has the capability of supplying large diameter shop built or field assembled tanks. Large diameter shop built tanks range from 15’ diameter, 21’-6” diameter and larger. Shop built tanks are suitable for shipment via barge to customer’s sites. For customer’s without barge canal access, the vessels can be shop built and shipped to the jobsite in sections for final field assembly by our experienced field service group, Diamond Services.
