Hydro-Chek Coarse Bubble Diffusers are the result of years of extensive research and development. They combine a simplicity of design with quality construction to provide efficient, economical, trouble-free continuous gas diffusion. The DP Series diffuser utilizes plastic for the diffuser body while the DS Series is constructed of stainless steel.

The SS Series Plenum Coarse Bubble Diffuser is designed for use in applications which require the delivery of higher CFM rates. Simplicity of design also makes the SS Series diffuser a cost effective alternative to other forms of coarse bubble diffusion. Its unitized design and construction has no moving parts to wear out or shake loose. These design and operational features assure trouble-free operation. The operating principle of the SS Series Plenum Diffuser is simple. It is a basic rectangular chamber with parallel groups of orifices of two different diameters located on both sides of it.

The MTD Series Membrane Check Valve Fine Bubble Diffuser was developed for use in applications which require fine bubble dispersion in aeration systems which may be cycling on and off. These installations require the integral check valve capabilities found in MTD Series Membrane Diffuser. This design feature prevents the back flow of water when the diffuser is not aerating. Due to its self sealing configuration using a flexible membrane, these types of diffusers are less susceptible to clogging due to solids or biological fouling. Since the membrane expands and contracts when it is aerating and not aerating, there is less opportunity for organism growth on the surface of the diffuser. The membrane diffuser provides more bubble producing orifices on its surface area than comparable diffusers.

The Diffused Gas Technologies, Inc. Ceramic Fine Bubble Diffusers were developed for use in environments which require the delivery of fine gas bubbles in extreme duty applications. Ceramic fine bubbles diffusers have consistently delivered the highest gas transfer rates of any type of diffuser devices available. The relatively small bubble produced by these diffusers provide an extremely high gas to liquid interface per CFM of gas supplied. This ratio coupled with an increase in contact time due to the slower rise rate of the fine bubbles accounts for high gas transfer rate.

The FBT Series Ceramic Tubular Fine Bubble Diffusers provide many of the same performance advantages offered with the Ceramic Dome Diffuser. They are capable of delivering a curtain of diffused gas in the treatment basin as opposed to the plume shape provided by its dome-shaped counterpart.
