Digatron Systems ECU, Electrode Cutting Unit, is an automatic electrode die cutting equipment designed to punch electrodes from coated aluminium and copper rolls. A roll of coated electrode is manually loaded on the machine and the web is automatically pulled under the die cutting station. A high-precision cutting die performs clean cut of the electrode according to the required dimension. Simultaneously, a pick and place system places the cut electrode into a storage tray.

Digatron Systems ECW 226, electrode cutting and tab welding unit, is a semi-automatic electrode cutting machine designed to cut electrode strips from coated reels and to weld the tabs onto the electrode or foil uncoated area.

Digatron Systems CPW 226, Cell Pilot Winder, is an automatic cell winding machine, designed for the production of cylindrical or prismatic lithium cells. The operator manually loads the machine with pre-cut electrodes and starts the automatic cycle. The electrodes are positioned on adjustable beds with a built-in vacuum guiding system, which is designed to keep the electrodes at the correct position during the winding operation. The machine is designed with two independent separator spools, each one equipped with an automatic edge position control unit and a dedicated tensioning and cutting system. Once winding is completed, the cell is automatically sealed with tape and ejected from the winding mandrel into a buffer container.
