Dixie Southern designs and completes custom chemical tank fabrication. Our above-ground, welded-steel storage tanks meet the exacting standards of the American Petroleum Institute (API). API establishes standards for the design and fabrication of welded-steel storage tanks. Carbon steel and stainless-steel tanks are often used for storing oil and other liquids. The API standard is applicable for stationary atmospheric and low-pressure petroleum storage tanks used in all sectors of the petroleum and petrochemical industry. We serve customers in the oil and gas industry, and beyond, for their custom, legal load or over-dimensional, API certified storage tanks in carbon steel and stainless-steel tanks.

Dixie Southern fabricates steel water processing, water storage, and potable water tanks to NSF 61 standards. The National Sanitation Foundation’s standards help keep potable water in safe, drinkable conditions for the public. The NSF/ANSI Standard 61 signals that a product is safe to be installed in a potable water system for public use or consumption. Steel water processing and storage tanks are also fabricated to AWWA standards by Dixie Southern. The American Water Works Association standards describe minimum requirements for design, installation, performance, and manufacture of products used in the drinking water industry.

Autoclaves are steel tanks/containers that are used for chemical reactions, contents under pressure, and/or high temperatures. Dixie Southern can complete custom heavy autoclave fabrications with carbon steel or stainless steel. Safety, durability, compliance, quality design, and fabrication are all attributes of Dixie Southern’s oversized autoclaves.
