The choice of product to be applied is determined after examination and analysis of the content and inspection of the substrate.
Manure
DL Plastics - Floating Cover for Manure
We also supply floating covers for covering manure silos. Floating covers are used to limit the emission of fertilizer gases. A floating cover has the advantage that it is a cheaper investment compared to other covers. Because the floating cover rests on the manure, this has no consequences for the load on the tank. However, a floating cover does require more attention/maintenance than any other cover. The rainwater has to be pumped out. These covers are supplied in consultation with floats/air vents, HDPE edge pipe, tension strap/rope and a mixing hole. The material used is a PVC foil reinforced with polyester 900 grams per m². Available in green or grey.
Horticulture
DL Plastics - Anti-Algae Cover
A DL-ANTI-ALG COVER is produced in our factory from a water-permeable PP fabric with a weight of 190 to 300 grams per m² and is very suitable for covers of silos for the storage of water. A DL-Anti-Algae Cover protects the DL-Liners against UV radiation from the sun, evaporation and against the blowing in of leaves or other debris.
DL Plastics - Water Basin
DL Plastics B.V. has been known for many years as a supplier and producer of high-quality plastic materials and end products. Using the latest welding techniques, certified professionals in their own factory prepare thousands of liners for water storage tanks and silos and hundreds of foil tarpaulins for sealing water basins every year, which are not only sold in the Netherlands, but also exported to all parts of the world.
DL Plastics - Delafloat for High Quality Polyolefin Material
A DELAFLOAT is made of a very high quality polyolefin material. The material consists of two layers (one layer colored white) with small air-filled spaces in between that provide the high buoyancy. Due to the shape of the bubble, the DelafloaT creates a vacuum on the water, so that the DelafloaT sucks itself onto the water surface, as it were. The white top layer reflects the UV rays, so that the water heats up less in countries or periods with a lot of sun and heat. This helps to prevent algae growth, less evaporation and very easy installation. As an option, we supply “Gravity bags” for areas subject to strong winds. By hanging the Gravity bags on the DelafloaT, the DelafloaT floats flat on the water.
