Gate Valves
DVD - Model Bonnet Type - Metal Seated Gate Valve
The bonnet type DVD Gate Valves have a revolving non-rising stem, provided with a functional thread which is inside the valve chamber. During the operation, stem revolves in the stem nut which carries along a flexible wedge. Due to its design, low torque values are achieved which eases the revolving of the stem. The stem is locked against axial movement by a bonnet nut threaded to the bonnet, and no axial movement occurs in the specified conditions. The wedge is guided in the body in a precast groove and provides an undisturbed water flow when the valve is open. The body and the wedge have pressed-in/ threaded sealing seat to have drip tight sealing when the valve is closed.
DVD - Model Bonnet Type - Resilient Seated Gate Valves
The bonnet type DVD Resilient Seated Gate Valves have a revolving non-rising stem, provided with a functional thread which is inside the valve chamber. During the operation, stem revolves in the stem nut which carries along a solid wedge which is vulcanized by rubber. Due to its design, low torque values are achieved which eases the revolving of the stem. The stem is locked against axial movement by a bonnet nut threaded to the bonnet, and no axial movement occurs in the specified conditions.
Butterfly Valves
DVD - Hydraulic Actuated Check-Butterfly Valves
DVD Check-Butterfly Valves have divided two-piece shaft that is guiding the disc. One of these shafts transfers the gearbox rotation force to the disc. In case of an operation of the Hydraulic Actuator, the shaft rotates in its axis and moves the attached disc to open or close the valve. The second shaft is used to guide the disc to the body of the valve. Friction of guiding is lowered by the bronze bearings on the body. DVD Butterfly Valves have Closed End Disc Design, and shaft bearing system is isolated from the medium by o-rings. As a result, high corrosion resistance and durability is achieved.
DVD - Double Eccentric Butterfly Valves
DVD Butterfly Valves have divided two-piece shaft that is guiding the disc. One of these shafts transfers the gearbox rotation force to the disc. In case of an operation of the gearbox, the shaft rotates in its axis and moves the attached disc to open or close the valve.
Check Valves
DVD - Model Swing Type - Check Valves
DVD Swing Type Check Valves are designed to have drip tight sealing in case of back flow. The disc is opened in normal flow direction, providing laminar flow. When there is a pressure change in the system and flow is coming back, the disc acts and closes the valve. Accessories that enable slow or fast closing of the disc are available upon request.
Air Valves
Single Chamber & Double Function
DVD Single Chamber Air Release and Vacuum Valves are designed to perform two functions: 1. Venting of large volumes of air on the start-up of the system, while pipelines are filled. 2. Intake of large volumes of air on shut-off of the system, while pipelines are being drained.
Double Chamber & Triple Function
DVD Double Chamber Air Release and Vacuum Valves are designed to perform three functions: Venting of large volumes of air on the start-up of the system, while pipelines are filled. Intake of large volumes of air on shut-off of the system, while pipelines are being drained. Discharge of pressurized air pockets during the operation.
Strainers
DVD - Model Y Type - Strainers
DVD Y Type Strainers are installed to protect system appliances, such as: pumps, flowmeters, control valves or regulating devices. The main function is to remove foreign matter like leaves, sticks or stones from the pipelines. Foreign particles that can harm crucial appliances in the system are stuck in the filter of the strainer, and the user can check the blockage of the filter by using monometer connections. In case of a situation where the differential pressure reading is high, the blow-off port is used to remove entrapped debris at the bottom of the body. DVD Y Type Strainers feature large trap capacity, low head loss and ease of both cleaning and handling.
DVD - Model Basket Type - Strainers
DVD Basket Type Strainers are installed to protect system appliances, such as: pumps, flowmeters, control valves or regulating devices. Due to its design, DVD Basket Type Strainers feature much bigger trap capacity compared to other types of strainers. Furthermore, service from the top cover enable a more shallow Valve Chamber, thereby decreasing the overall cost of the installation.
Dismantling Pieces
DVD - Dismantling Joint Allow
DVD Dismantling Joints allow easy installation and removal of valves from the system during maintenance. By using the bolts on the product, the user can create a work space in the longitudinal direction and can work easily on the valve that is connected after the dismantling joint.
