Consulting & Legal Service

Companies are faced with many crucial questions within the framework of the applicable legislation (WEEE, Packaging Directive, Battery Directive).

WEEE Registration & Reporting National Services

In Germany the sale and disposal of electrical appliances underly very strict requirements: The general WEEE guideline has been adopted through the German Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroGesetz) and is carried out by the so-called stiftung ear. According to law, all electrical appliance manufacturer or distributor are obliged to get registrated with stiftung ear and to get a respective WEEE-number. Those who do not attend their duty of registration, run the risk of receiving a warning letter for violating competition law or even a financial penalty by law enforcement (up to 100.000 €).

Producer Responsibility & Compliance Check Services

We make sure that you comply with your extended producer responsibility. As a manufacturer, distributor or importer, you may be subject to certain obligations concerning manufacturer or producer responsibility. This goes hand in hand with the responsibility for the disposal and recycling of the products concerned. The three main areas of extended producer responsibility comprise the WEEE Directive, Packaging Directive and Battery Directive. This raises the question for companies: What legal obligations do I actually have? Do you need support to meet your obligations or would you like to hand them over? Use our service for 100% liability, 100% cost-effectiveness and 100% legal compliance.

Take-back & Recycling Services

The take-back and proper disposal of electronic waste, packaging and batteries is a legal obligation for companies within the framework of the international WEEE Directive, Packaging Directive and Battery Directive (producer responsibility). We offer companies around the world suitable take-back solutions. From the provision of containers to international coordination. Tell us about your project and we will take care of the solution.

WEEE Service - International

Internationally, the sale and disposal of electrical appliances is regulated by the WEEE guideline and then adopted through country-specific regulations at national level, which in the case of Germany are quite strict. Here, the WEEE guideline has been implemented by the so called ElektroGesetz- the German Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act. The competent authority for the registration of the WEEE number is the so-called stiftung ear.

WEEE Management Service

The production, distribution and recycling of electrical and electronic appliances (as well as lamps), is strictly regulated in many countries throughout the world. Europe, North and South America, Asia and Africa have already implemented laws, ensuring the proper treatment of EE-waste. The blueprint for these country’s regulations was often the EU WEEE Directive 2002/96/EC. The full implementation has, however, been implemented differently in each country, so that all different types of obligations must be monitored and updated regularly.
