Dutch Spiral’s parabolic screens are developed and designed for an efficient and effective way of diverting solids from process and waste water flow. Because of the wide diversity in slot width the bow sieves can be applied in many sectors.

We have over 800 different standard spirals changing the diameter and pitch to suit the application. This helps us to be flexible in making custom solutions, but also in replacing existing spare parts.  Our standard spirals are made of a special hard wearing steel, but are also available in Stainless steel 304 and 316 variations. Diameters from 140mm up to 700mm are available with different barsizes and pitches.

Spirals have no shaft and this prevents material built up. Our fully sealed lids minimize odour nuisance. Rotations of the spiral are kept to a maximum of 30 rpm which results in low wear and abrasion due to the rotational speed. The shaftless spiral is directly connected to the gearbox. This gives great advantages because the spiral is the only moving part which is in contact with the material.

Dutch Spiral’s slide valves are developed for a simple and effective way of intercepting the flow of many kind of products. The slide valves are widely used in a variety of sectors. The design is always optimized according to Dutch Spirals profound experience in the field of handling bulk materials. We have a various of options in the way the slide valves are driven. This can either be by hand, by pneumatics, by electric lineators or electric actuators. The slide valves are also equipped with proximity switches or reed contacts to detect the positioning. As an extra option they can be equipped with ultrasonic or radar sensors to detect the level of the product below the slide valves.

Dutch Spiral bunkers can be applied in many different sectors as a storage, transfer and discharge tank of dewatered screenings and sludge. The Bunkers are made according to the wishes and requirements of the costumer. In order to prevent a bridge formation of sticky and coarse materials over the diameter of the trough multiple screws are installed on the bottom of the bunker.The shaftless screws cover a large part of the bottom surface which results in efficient interception and an easier discharge. Due to the distribution of the material over the multiple screws the individual screws can function more energy-efficient.

Dutch Spiral’s Solids diverter gates are developed and designed for efficient and effective diverting of a variety of materials such as wet, stringy or sticky materials. The diverters are mainly used to divide the output of screens which throw their output in the diverter gate after which the operator chooses the right trough or bin by operating it.

The Dutch Spiral Sludgetainer STC is specially designed for the transport of dewatered sludge. The sludgecontainer specifically designed to allow the filling of the container to take place autonomously, whereby the degree of filling and transport can be switched on remotely. In addition, the container is optimized to minimized oder nuisance.
