DWA - Water Guard with Motor Rotary Valve
The DWA water guard with motor rotary valve was developed especially for use in medical water processing.If the water sensor comes into contact with liquids, the motor rotary valve closes within fewer seconds and interrupts the water supply. Compared to conventional procedure the ball valve will not be detained by lime or other disposal. An integrated “Power Pack” ensures the secure function even at power breakdown.The DWA water guard offers most possible leakage protection during all operating phases of the reverse osmosis and its peripheral devices (filter, softener, etc.)
DWA - Pre-filtration – Filter Technology
The water quality can vary depending on the raw water source, the piping and the season. In order to operate with high reliability, effectiveness and efficiency, a contamination of the Reverse Osmosis Systems by particles, colloids and clouding must be prevented. Water analysis, definition of the blocking index and the required water quantity are essential parameters for a reasonable configuration of an energy-efficient filtration technology. DWA - Softener Systems
The rising costs and fluctuating quality of fresh water supplies require a concept which is adjusted to the requirements for softening clean drinking or industrial water on the principles of ion exchange operation at neutral exchange level.The DWA duplex softener systems with quality control always ensures optimal use of the softener resin – even if the water hardness fluctuates. Each softener column is continuously monitored by a sensor which determines the exhaustion of the resin and controls the switch over to the other column. This innovative hardness sensor control not only ensures optimum utilization of the softener resin but also significantly minimizes the water and salt consumption.A programmable control unit monitors the hardness sensors, adjusts the fully automatic regeneration and flush programs and avoids a hardness breakthrough. The hardness sensors are nearly maintenance free and require no reagent or indicator solutions.

The new modula Reverse Osmosis concept was developed to incorporate the proven and reliable DWA standard of dialysis water treatment into a flexible design concept. Based on an economic, cost effective and adaptable system designed to comply with different international dialysis requirements and regulations. modula uses high quality materials and superior manufacturing to fulfill the objective to achieving maximum hygiene, optimum safety, long life and reliability of permeate production – with guaranteed economy through low operating costs and economical water consumption.
DWA - Central Reverse Osmosis System
The modula S grants optimum safety and reliability. Due to economical construction and smoothness, the system can be used near treatment stations. The development goal of the modula S was to attain a well balanced high economical and technical standard. The high level of easy serviceability and the reduced water consumption – achieved by the combined conductivity / temperature control – minimizes operating costs.

The redundant configuration of the modula S-XL ensures high permeate capacity and highest operational safety and reliability.The modula S-XL can be configured optionally in two modes:Fully redundant – one membrane package ensures the complete supply of dialysis.Eco-Mode – both membrane packages are communicating and adjust the permeate capacity to the respective requirement.Those intelligent settings of the water-cooled submersible pumps provides a maximum economy at minimized noise.
modula - Twin Pass Reverse Osmosis System
The twin-pass configuration of modula S-TP guarantees highest chemical permeate quality and a significant improvement of microbiology. If required, both membrane stages can be switched on and off independently of each other. This full redundancy allows maintenance during operation and highest operational safety. By combination of submersed and frequency controlled pump, the intelligent system control and operation of energy-saving polyamide membranes DWA ensures a maximum permeate capacity with highest economy and operational safety.
nephRO - Central Reverse Osmosis System
The nephRO TP is available in six variants covering the needs of all dialysis centres. The RO is available as redundant, twin-pass and single stage reverse osmosis system. The nephRO TP combines all features of the previous DWA reverse osmosis systems in one system. Furthermore it is suitable for big dialysis centres because of its outstanding permeate capacity up to 6,400 l/h. By the new software and the new coloured touchscreen the nephRO TP reveals new possibilities for data visualisation and networking.
DWA - Central Double-Stage Reverse Osmosis
By the double-stage setup the modula TP provides highest permeate quality even at a low feed water quality. As with the modula system the modula TP is designed to comply with different international dialysis requirements and regulations. Through two independent stages the modula TP provides for total operation safety. With one stage out of service the other can take over the complete duty to provide continuation of treatment. For heat disinfection of ring mains, media supply systems and dialysis machines modula TP can be easily connected to our Heat Disinfection and Ultrafiltration Systems. The user-friendly operating menu not only simplifies the setting and control of the modula TP also offers the possibility of easy connectivity and software updates.
